Playing at University of Detroit (Michigan) Jesuit, Vettorello chose SU over scholarship offers from Vanderbilt, Oregon, Kentucky, Iowa and Minnesota, among others. Vettorello also had two offers from Atlantic Coast Conference schools: Pittsburgh and Boston College.
The 6-foot-4, 277-pound Vettorello is Syracuse’s fourth offensive line commit in the 2018 class. Willem Froumy and four-star prospects Qadir White and Tyrone Sampson Jr. — Sampson is also from the Detroit area — are SU’s other commits up front. Track the rest of the Class of 2018 here.
