Phi Delta Theta endorses Seedat, Hong
The Phi Delta Theta New York Epsilon chapter is proud to announce our endorsement of Aysha Seedat and Jane Hong, for presidential and vice presidential candidates of the Student Association 59th Session. Our fraternity has a history of involvement with the Student Association; Duane Ford ‘15 was the vice president of the 57th Session, followed by Boris Gresely ’15, who is our current president of the 58th Session. We collectively believe that there is no team more equipped to handle the current needs of the student body, nor is their a duo with more collective experience.
Seedat and Hong are both incredibly attuned to student life. Seedat served as the director of student life for the 58th Session, sitting on Gresely’s cabinet and working with the administration to make students’ lives easier. Hong is an RA in the Sheraton, working with and guiding students on a daily basis. Due to their involvement in these and other organizations, Seedat and Hong have high experience in both understanding and advocating for the students’ best interests.
As an organization that takes academics and professionalism seriously, we see many of our values reflected in this campaign. We are happy to throw our full support behind Seedat and Hong because we know that they have the capability to bring about true, positive changes to this campus. Phi Delta Theta encourages all students to examine their platform and learn about their goals, and we wish Seedat and Hong the best of luck in the upcoming election.
