Korean American Student Association endorses Seedat, Hong

The Korean American Student Association is happy to announce our endorsement of Aysha Seedat and Jane Hong for presidential and vice presidential candidates of the Student Association 59th Session. Seedat’s and Hong’s two pillars of safety and support seek to create a stronger campus community, and KASA can strongly identify with that objective. We are a cultural and social organization that strives to create a multicultural community here on campus by sharing Korean culture. As an on campus resource for students, KASA connects people of all backgrounds through a celebration of Syracuse University’s diversity.

Seedat has already achieved massive success through her initiatives as director of student life with the Student Association, and KASA witnessed Hong’s abilities firsthand when she served on our executive board as the Culture Chair. Hong coordinated K-Night, KASA’s annual event, and also led KASA’s efforts to work together with other multicultural organizations to bring an added sense of unity to our campus.

It is abundantly clear to KASA that both Seedat and Hong have the experience to strengthen our campus community in a way that no one else could. They have already displayed enormous passion for what they are doing, and we encourage everyone to learn more about their platform. Finally, we wish them the best of luck in the upcoming elections.
